Job Description

• Design and develop technical architecture of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance in context of customer's environment, requirements, and financial resources.
• Understand business requirements and participate in the project discussions to design, estimate, and deliver secure/highly performing code.
• Review design & help implement effective, performance-optimized databases based on business requirements.
• Ensure the system/applications are in compliance with architectural specifications.
• Review, identify, and implement performance improvements and optimizations to maximise productivity of teams, and scalability, stability, and security of solutions.
• Build & improve architecture review board which will guide teams in designing well architected projects.
• Proactively communicate with solution architects from different teams to identify and make recommendations on gaps in ongoing projects.
• Participate in pre-sales activities to demonstrate technical capabilities and experience of the organisation.
• Design and participate in organizational initiative to build and improve organisational competence and memory.
• Coach & oversee unit/integration testing techniques and best practices.

Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of total experience with 3+ years of experience as Technical Architect in Python.
• Strong understanding of building cloud native applications in Python.
• Experience in building highly scalable, reliable, secure and high-performance cloud native products.
• Experience with Apache/Nginx, ORM (Object Relational Mapper), Web Services, Caching using Memcache/Redis/APC/Varnish, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, Angular JS, XML.
• Expertise in at least one Python framework like Django, Flask, etc.
• Experience with event-based and message-driven distributed system.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Prior hands-on experience in developing and deploying Microservices solutions on cloud (Azure / GCP / AWS).
• Experience in building APIs with REST and gRPC.
• Understanding of 12 factor methodologies, kubernetes, and Devops tools.
