Introduction to your Job
Manage timely & thorough testing of web & mobile applications to ensure the software meets requirements and is fit for use.
Interact with Clients & project delivery team to understand functional requirements to plan effective testing of software.
Guide team in defining testing scope of their projects, including working with them to finalise test cases & test plans.
Manage, mentor, and provide technical guidance/support to team.
Review & improve test cases, test plans, test scripts, and associated defect tracking mechanisms, processes, and metrics.
Improve technical competence of team through training & development.
Monitor software testing activities and report progress to stakeholders.
Ideally, you should have:
7+ years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual, automated, security, etc.)
Proven experience in creating test data, customised for various back-end technologies, especially databases
Proven experience in leading testing functions within an iterative development methodology (Agile) environment
Experience with testing in DevOps (CI/CD, etc.) enabled workflows
Experience in testing microservices & serverless applications (preferred)
Domain expertise of eCommerce (preferred)
Strong experience in using & customising defect tracking software like Jira, Taiga, Mantis, etc.
Strong documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills
