Background

MyPrivateBanking (MPB) is the first independent information and networking platform for clients of private banks and wealth managers worldwide, created with an aim to support private banking clients in making profitable investment decisions.

The Problem

The founders of MyPrivateBanking had a vision of making wealth management much more transparent, cost-efficient, and client-focused. They were driven by their own experiences as clients of a number of wealth managers.

The primary goal was to create a Web platform where users can find and exchange information to help them make intelligent investment decisions, such as choosing the best wealth managers, improving their wealth management strategy, lowering the cost of wealth management, and optimising management activities of their wealth managers.

The Solution

Identifying Business Requirements With an aim to align the website design with company’s business objectives, we started off with extensive stakeholder interviews to get an in-depth understanding of the scope, key objectives, and challenges of the project.

Agile-scrum Methodology

We followed an Agile-based scrum methodology in which the project was divided into sprints of two weeks’ duration. This enabled us to get early feedback and plan future sprints accordingly.

Finalizing Information Architecture (IA) Our Business Analysts conducted an Information Architecture (IA) workshop with MyPrivateBanking team, where sitemaps and wireframes were developed to finalize the layout and navigation of the website.
Usability and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) In order to drive more visitors to the website, a comprehensive SEO strategy was implemented and in-depth usability testing was conducted to engage the visitors and turn them into registered members.
