Job Description

• Passionate about performance testing , code quality and advocate of clean code principles.
• 7+ years of experience working in the technology industry in the Performance Testing role.
• Experience working in complex quality assurance teams as part of a large multi-year, business-critical technology program.
• Experience in writing performance scripts, automate execution and produce meaningful reports
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Thorough knowledge of Agile software delivery models ( Scrum, Kanban etc.)
• Good team player and quick learning skills.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.

Skills & Experience:

• Create Performance scripts and run tests using tools like Jmeter/Locust/Neoload.
• Hands on experience in designing, implementing and maintaining workload models based on infrastructure sizing.
• Good knowledge of APM tools as well as Monitoring using system tools in absence of APM
• Experience in Production Performance Testing; Analysis of production data and Performance modeling based on business growth and capacity of systems.
• Experience in Google Analytics
• Ability to set up and analyze DB traces; profile code using tools like Jprofiler, Yourkit, etc
• Ability to analyze Thread dump to identify deadlocks and heap dumps to identify memory issues (object level)
• Basic tuning skills, configurations of parameters - GC, worker processes , heap size
• Good analysis skills using App server and Web server logs to identify errors and trace; GC logs and have a good understanding of GC algorithms.
• Knowledge of build tools and continuous integration using Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, etc.
