AI Marketing & Research Associate
Job Description
Title: AI Marketing & Research Associate
Experience: Fresher
Industry: IT Services
AI Marketing & Research Associate
Paid 12-Week Program | Net Solutions
Net Solutions is looking for a small group of unusually sharp early-career people to work with our marketing team on research, content, AI-assisted workflows, and marketing operations.
This is not a conventional marketing internship.
We are looking for people who can take a messy question, research it properly, use AI intelligently, challenge what AI produces, and turn the work into something useful for a marketing or business team.
You do not need years of marketing experience. You do need to be an excellent thinker, researcher, and communicator.
What you'll work on
Researching industries, companies, competitors, technologies, and market trends
Reviewing AI-generated articles and marketing copy for logic, accuracy, repetition, weak arguments, and unnatural writing
Finding and verifying primary sources for statistics and claims
Researching prospects and target accounts for campaigns and events
Comparing competitor positioning, services, content, and go-to-market approaches
Supporting SEO and AI-search research
Turning existing research and content into useful campaign and sales material
Testing ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other AI tools to improve marketing workflows
Developing repeatable AI-assisted processes that make our internal marketing team faster
Helping us answer a broader question: what marketing work can now be done significantly better and faster when a smart person uses AI well?
You will work on live Net Solutions marketing initiatives, not simulated internship projects.
What we're looking for
We care more about how you think than what degree you have.
You should have:
Excellent written English
Strong research and analytical ability
An instinct for questioning information rather than accepting it
Very good attention to detail
The ability to understand unfamiliar subjects quickly
Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
The ability to distinguish a credible source from something that merely looks credible
Good judgment about what makes writing clear, useful, and believable
Curiosity about technology, AI, business, and marketing
The ability to work independently once the objective is clear
A technical degree is not required. Neither is a marketing degree.
Previous work, writing, research, side projects, newsletters, university publications, AI experiments, or anything else that demonstrates how you think will matter more to us than certificates.
How we think about AI
We are probably not a good fit if your approach to AI is simply to ask ChatGPT to produce an answer and submit it.
We expect you to use AI extensively. We also expect you to recognize when it is wrong, generic, poorly reasoned, or unsupported.
The ability to challenge AI output is more important than the ability to prompt it.
Duration: 12 weeks, full-time and paid.
Exceptional performers may be offered a longer-term role at Net Solutions.
Selection process
Stage 1: Application
Send us your CV or LinkedIn profile and, preferably, something that demonstrates how you think or write.
Stage 2: Practical assessment
Shortlisted candidates will complete a short exercise involving research, AI-generated content, fact checking, and editorial judgment.
You may use any AI tools you want. We are interested in both what you produce and how you got there.
Stage 3: Conversation
A short discussion about your assignment, how you approached it, what you disagreed with, and what you would do differently.
What success looks like
By the end of the program, we expect strong Associates to be able to take a clearly defined research, content, or marketing-operations problem and produce work that meaningfully reduces the workload of the permanent marketing team.
The best people will not simply produce more content. They will help us improve how the work itself gets done.
