A sentient able to converse with us, to understand us, to better us, to help us. An artificially intelligent operating system — the undercurrent to our future.
Although tomorrow is yet to promise a funny, emotionally intelligent personal AI, the conversational abilities of ChatGPT today have moved the technically savvy to make the tool their friend.

ChatGPT is a precursor to a real, intelligent conversation with an algorithm, and holds the potential to usurp how we search & discover stuff. Contextual continuity is the kick, something missing from modern-day search engines like Google, which offer limited context in a search/conversation. Maybe, the lab-only versions of Google Search are better, but the commercial ones need to up their game to stay relevant now that ChatGPT is the new kid on the block.
