Job Description
As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for project deliveries and overseeing the architecture and implementation of complex software applications. Effectively lead projects and teams while ensuring successful software deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day responsibility of managing technical projects.
- Maximize the productivity of the project team by choosing an effective development environment, establishing programming, design, and other technical standards, training team members, and providing advisory and troubleshooting support.
- Own and spearhead the delivery of the project (including cross-functional) and ensure that all components of the technical architecture are properly implemented.
- Build an architecture review board, which will guide teams in designing well-architected projects. Continue to review projects at regular intervals to ensure the architecture principles are adhered to continuously as the project is built incrementally using an agile method.
- Develop project plans that align the client needs with the company goals in the backdrop of team coordination through all project stages.
- Ensure that systems, procedures, and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery.
- Interact with Clients and create strong value propositions for clients across the value chain.
- Analyze the economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost-benefit and return-on-investment standards.
- Define the scope of the project/service, managing goals, risks, issues, and resources throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage in code reviews and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. Conduct regular quality checks, reviews, and audits. Continuously assess and improve delivery processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Provide post-project analysis to evaluate successes and areas of improvement.
- Continuous focus on improving internal processes for better project outcomes (e.g., retrospectives, process audits, lean practices)
- Plans to determine time frames, budgeting, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various project phases.
- Mentor and manage team members, by giving constant on-the-job feedback, and by providing guidance.
- Prepare project reports for management, clients, and others.
- Confer with project team members to assign duties and responsibilities, provide technical advice, and resolve problems.
- Hold regular project meetings with stakeholders to monitor progress and communicate actions required.
- Proactively solve problems to ensure milestones are met and projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain close contact with clients, ensuring the shared vision, stakeholder buy-in, and project support.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
